2025 Altus Football Offense Preview – Presented by Bulldog Furniture

ALTUS BULLDOGS

Coach: JEREMY REED

4-6

The 2025 Altus Bulldogs return a promising core of skill players as they look to build on last year’s momentum, which saw the program win the most games since 2019. Despite finishing 4-6, the Bulldogs were just eight points away from a 7-3 record — a sign of how competitive they’ve become under Coach Jeremy Reed. Leading the offense is senior running back DJ Wilson (5-7, 168, Sr.), a three-year starter who rushed for 1,267 yards and 9 touchdowns last season. Undersized on paper but not in production, Wilson had multiple breakout performances, including a 291-yard effort on 42 carries in a statement win over Lawton High. At quarterback, rising sophomore Jeymon Reed (6-3, 182, Fr.) is one of the most exciting young athletes in Oklahoma. The first in-state prospect from the Class of 2029 to receive a Division I offer (Sacramento State), Reed is a true dual-threat who also excels in track and basketball. His raw speed (11.22 in the 100m) and leaping ability (20’5” long jump) make him a nightmare for defenses. At receiver, Jamele Alexander (5-10, 161, Sr.) returns after a standout season with 733 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns, while Khamden Lane (5-9, 174, Sr.) adds versatility as both a slot receiver and change-of-pace running back. Cole Osborne (5-10, 173, Sr.) also provides depth and big-play ability on the perimeter. The major question mark will be up front, as the offensive line needs a full rebuild after graduating key starters. If the young linemen can hold their own, this offense could be one of the most explosive in Class 5A.
