Get to know Altus Cheerleader Malorie Wood a little better with 3 Questions!
VYPE: What do you think it means when you’re called the unsung hero of the team?
Wood: This means so much to me. I always try to keep high spirits during practices and through competitions. These practices are mentally challenging, especially to the younger girls, so I always try my best to step up and help out in any way possible. This year’s team is one of the best I’ve ever seen. Such a fun group!
VYPE: What is your favorite memory as a student-athlete at Altus High School?
Wood: My favorite memory would have to be OU camp my freshman year. My seniors were always so supportive of me and showed me how to be a leader. We worked so hard there, but it all paid off!
VYPE: Do you have a favorite pregame or post-game meal?
Wood: My favorite pregame meal would have to be chicken and waffles! And post-game meal would be pizza!
