2026 Volleyball and Cross Country Players to Watch – Presented by Cattlemens Bank

Here are some of the top Oklahoma high school volleyball and cross country athletes to watch for this fall.

VOLLEYBALL

Kaprie Craddock (Altus)  

Entering her junior season, Craddock already holds Altus school records for single-season and career kills. She has continued developing her serve and back-row game, brings a team-first attitude, and earned All-Tournament recognition at the Claremore and Altus tournaments last season.

Lyndee Revard (Bartlesville)  

A returning junior, Revard brings calm experience to the setter position. She is expected to help lead the way for Bartlesville this season.

Gracee Geissler (Bethany)  

Geissler is a four-year starting libero with experience on state quarterfinalist, semifinalist and championship teams. Her consistent work ethic and commitment to improving make her a dependable veteran for Bethany.

Katie Clayton (Blair)  

Consistency, competitiveness and leadership defined Clayton’s impact on the Blair program. She set the tone in practice and competition, played with confidence in big moments, and earned All-Tournament Team recognition from opposing coaches.

Aliyah Owens (Broken Arrow)  

A four-year varsity player, Owens contributes as both a setter and right-side hitter. Her court vision, athleticism, explosive attack and blocking ability helped Broken Arrow finish as the Class 6A state runner-up, while she also earned first-team All-Frontier Conference honors.

Kirstin Clark (Canadian)  

Clark provides leadership while making an impact on both offense and defense. After missing last season because of injury, she is motivated to make a strong return.

Emma DeArmond (Catoosa)  

As Catoosa’s only four-year returning starter, DeArmond has filled several roles throughout her career. Primarily a middle blocker, she has also played outside hitter, right side and defense, and is relied upon to deliver points in key situations.

Jadyn Roberts (Christian Heritage Academy)  

Roberts pairs power and competitiveness with a strong presence for her teammates. Last season, she hit .340 with 114 kills and 62 blocks, and Christian Heritage will look to her for points and leadership again this fall.

Grace Baughman (Claremore)  

Heading into her senior season, Baughman has a chance to become Claremore’s next All-State selection. A varsity contributor since her freshman year, she offers leadership on and off the court and brings value in all six rotations.

Ellie Foster (Coweta)  

The senior captain brings fearless leadership and a formidable serve to Coweta’s lineup. Foster will be counted on to help guide the team toward success this season.

Marcella Willard (Dewey)  

After leading Dewey in kills as a freshman, Willard enters her sophomore season as a key piece of the program. Her skills and leadership give her a high ceiling for the year ahead.

Karen Gomez (Enid)  

Gomez enters her senior season as a dominant middle for the Enid Pacers. Three years of dedication have helped her become a force at the net, combining powerful defense, explosive hitting and veteran leadership.

Lilly Oren (Erick)  

At 6-foot-1, Oren gives Erick a powerful presence around the net. The senior can attack, serve, pass and contribute in the back row while bringing a willingness to do whatever the team needs.

Tessa Groff (Inola)  

Resilience has helped Groff grow into a leader for the Longhorns. After regaining the starting setter role as a junior, she helped Inola reach the Class 4A regional championship, finish undefeated in conference play and earn Verdigris Valley Conference First Team recognition.

Payton Shafer (Jenks)  

Shafer returns as a senior setter and varsity starter with extensive knowledge of the game. Her volleyball IQ and leadership will be valuable for Jenks this season.

Brecken Smiley (Mustang)  

Returning to her hometown, Smiley is a senior libero who previously played at Mount St. Mary’s. She was a major part of the back court during the program’s run to the state championship match and is eager to compete with Mustang.

Jennie Cobb (Navajo)  

Cobb brings high energy and a consistently positive approach to practice each day. Her ability to play multiple positions gives Navajo a versatile player who competes beyond her size.

Izzy Daivs (Oklahoma Bible Academy)  

After starting as a freshman, Daivs embraced the challenge of varsity volleyball early in her career. Despite entering only her sophomore season, graduation losses have made her one of OBA’s more seasoned players, and she has worked hard during the offseason.

Halle Barron (Oologah)  

Barron returns as a starter entering her sophomore season. She will play middle or opposite while also contributing in the back row after earning all-conference recognition last year.

Sophie Payne (Piedmont)  

Payne reached 1,000 career kills and established herself as one of the state’s top players. She earned All-Tournament honors at the Choctaw, Santa Fe and Stillwater tournaments, has committed to Middle Tennessee State University, and is recognized as a strong leader and teammate.

Kinlei Willis (Rejoice Christian)  

Willis is a hard-working teammate who helps elevate the Rejoice Christian program. Her positive contributions extend both on and off the court.

Mikayla Christian (Rejoice Christian)  

Christian brings a strong work ethic and team-first mindset to Rejoice Christian. She is valued for the way she helps the group improve on and off the court.

Emma DeCoster (Rejoice Christian)  

DeCoster is recognized as a hard-working player and a great teammate. Her presence helps take Rejoice Christian to another level.

Addie Ray (Sand Springs)  

Ray enters her senior season after earning Offensive MVP honors in the Frontier Valley Conference. She has committed to the University of Tampa’s beach volleyball program.

Ella Ord (Sapulpa)  

Ord gives Sapulpa a middle blocker with a powerful swing and an imposing block. Her presence at the net will be a key asset for the Chieftains.

Molly Megehee (Shawnee)  

Megehee enters her junior season with two years of varsity experience and an impressive sophomore stat line of 620 assists, 75 kills, 315 digs, 22 aces and 17 blocks. The Suburban Conference Setter of the Year, first-team All-Conference selection and Overall MVP will take on a larger leadership role while continuing to direct Shawnee’s offense.

Emily Yoeurth (Skiatook)  

Yoeurth returns as a junior outside hitter after recording 182 kills during her sophomore season. Her club-season work has focused on expanding her game and becoming a more consistent six-rotation player.

Rebecca DiMario (Snyder)  

Before injuries interrupted last season, DiMario was playing at a high level for Snyder. Her ability to contribute anywhere on the floor gives her the potential to become one of the area’s top small-school players.

Lydia Matlock (Stillwater)  

Matlock will start at middle for a second straight season after a strong freshman campaign. She started every match, led the team with 77 blocks and finished with more than 100 kills.

Layla Ridge (Tahlequah Sequoyah)  

A four-year starting libero, Ridge can also move to outside hitter when the roster calls for it. She earned Defensive MVP honors in the Sooner 5 Conference and at the Wagoner Tournament last season.

Kori White (Wesleyan Christian)  

White is a senior outside hitter and versatile defender who remains poised in high-pressure moments. A multi-sport standout, she is also known for encouraging teammates and putting the group ahead of herself.

Elly Vaughn (Westville)  

Vaughn worked her way from having no volleyball experience after transferring to Westville to becoming the starting libero. Her high energy, work ethic and passion for the game make her a key player to watch.

CROSS COUNTRY

Kolaiah Kaulaity (Anadarko)  

Kaulaity is expected to be Anadarko’s top boys runner this season. Physical maturity has helped him develop into a stronger competitor.

Ava Pebeahsy (Anadarko)  

Pebeahsy has been running for Anadarko since middle school. She qualified for the state meet last season.

Callen Frantz (Balko-Forgan)  

Frantz finished 15th overall at the state meet last season. That performance makes him a key runner to watch for Balko-Forgan.

Alexis Nichols (Balko-Forgan)  

After a highly successful freshman season, Nichols returns as a talented and motivated runner. Her work ethic and drive to compete at a high level should continue to show this fall.

Rubie Gross (Bishop Kelley)  

Gross helped Bishop Kelley win the Class 5A girls cross-country state championship as a freshman. She also won individual state titles in the 1,600 and 3,200 meters while helping the program claim the Class 5A track championship, all while posting a 4.0 GPA.

Tayte Stark (Blanchard)  

Stark enters her senior season after running cross country since her freshman year. She has consistently been near the front of the pack and is expected to have her strongest season yet.

Jane Eller (Broken Arrow)  

Eller has dominated at the junior-high level and is among the nation’s fastest eighth-grade runners across multiple distance events. She brings considerable potential to Broken Arrow’s program.

Carson Strickland (Broken Arrow)  

As Broken Arrow’s top returning boys runner, Strickland is expected to lead the team during his senior season. His experience gives the Tigers a dependable front-runner.

Jerin Thompson (Carnegie)  

Thompson medaled in every meet he entered last season except the state meet. He is expected to be stronger and faster this year and has the ability to break 18 minutes in the 5K.

Miles Occhiuzzo (Chisholm)  

A senior captain, Occhiuzzo has qualified for state in each of his first three high-school seasons. He finished second at the Class 3A state meet as a sophomore and third as a junior while establishing himself as a leader for Chisholm.

Courtney Occhiuzzo (Chisholm)  

As a freshman, Occhiuzzo won every meet she entered with the girls team, including regionals and state. She also placed 10th in the Cowboy Jamboree’s Big School Division, 13th at the Chili Pepper meet and second at the Oklahoma vs. Arkansas All-Star Meet.

Riley Reed (Chouteau)  

Reed is a four-year varsity runner and two-time state qualifier for Chouteau. The senior has steadily lowered his 5K times, consistently shows up for every scheduled meet and is positioned to lead the team back to state.

Conner Spaulding (Coweta)  

Spaulding is a reliable runner Coweta can count on every week. His pursuit of excellence has built the toughness needed to compete regardless of course or conditions.

Jason Gray (Crossover Preparatory Academy)  

Gray’s consistent work has led to noticeable improvement. His development is expected to show during the upcoming season.

Luis Valdez (Daniel Webster)  

Valdez enters his third cross-country season after improving in each of his first two years. He also runs the 800 meters and mile relay in track, where his strong relay finishes helped Daniel Webster win three of five invitationals last spring.

Ryan Frisinger (Dewey)  

Frisinger is Dewey’s lone returner from back-to-back state-meet teams. He has recorded several top-10 finishes since his freshman year and excels in both cross country and track.

Landon Eubank (Dickson)  

A three-time All-Stater, Eubank has won the honor in each of the past two seasons. He went undefeated during the 2025 campaign, winning all 10 of his races.

Jaden Alexander (Dickson)  

Alexander enters her senior season after earning All-State recognition as a freshman. A tough competitor, she finished 16th at the state meet last season.

Logan Sanders (Duncan)  

Sanders is a returning All-State runner and state champion for Duncan. After finishing fifth at last year’s state cross-country meet, his mix of speed and 5K endurance gives him an opportunity to finish even higher this season.

KJ Lowery (Durant)  

Lowery is an outstanding student-athlete who mentors younger competitors and serves as a positive example. His leadership grew significantly during track season as a sophomore, where he showed his commitment to being a strong teammate.

Avery Sager (Durant)  

Sager is recognized as an outstanding student-athlete on and off the course. She mentors younger athletes, works extremely hard and is willing to push her limits.

Adarian Andrews (Edmond Memorial)  

Andrews earned All-State recognition at the junior-high level and enters his second season in cross country. He is a developing runner to watch for Edmond Memorial.

Bentlee Bernard (Fairview)  

Bernard has run cross country since elementary school and enters her senior season with an impressive résumé. She has been part of Fairview’s state-qualifying girls teams throughout high school, regularly finishes in the top 10 and has been the program’s top-scoring female runner.

Bailey Bowden (Fort Gibson)  

Bowden has the potential to become one of Oklahoma’s top runners. Her quick starts, ability to sustain pace and growing leadership role make her an athlete to follow for Fort Gibson.

Taylor Schroder (Guthrie)  

Schroder finished 10th at the state meet last season. She is poised for an even stronger campaign this fall.

Morgan Altstatt (Heavener)  

Altstatt led Heavener to state as the team’s fastest runner during his sophomore season. His leadership and determination will be important for the program this year.

Anna Pendergraft (Hollis)  

Pendergraft is a three-time state qualifier who is aiming for a top-15 state finish as a senior. She has dramatically lowered her times over the past three years, will also compete at state in the two-mile during track, and provides a positive example for younger runners.

Graydon Whorton (Hollis)  

Whorton has helped lead Hollis to three consecutive top-six state finishes. He leads by example, encourages teammates and is expected to have a strong individual season.

Wyatt Brill (Hollis)  

Brill has been a major leader during Hollis’ run of three straight top-six state finishes. His work ethic and ability to motivate teammates make him an important part of the program.

Finley Duncan (Hooker)  

Duncan enters the season after a strong sophomore campaign and a 12th-place finish at the state cross-country meet. She also broke Hooker’s school record in the open 800 meters at state track, running 2:19.13 for third place.

Callen Duncan (Hooker)  

Duncan finished 17th at the state meet in a deep Class 2A field last season. The sophomore is a calm racer who understands how to close races late, and teammates look to him to set the tone in workouts and competition.

Casey Allen (Idabel)  

Allen has committed herself to summer training, including consistent work in the weight room and Summer Pride program. She is a standout in the classroom and a runner who brings maximum effort every day.

Colby Scott (Idabel)  

Scott was Idabel’s lone state qualifier as a freshman last season. The naturally gifted athlete has used basketball, track and weight-room work to prepare for cross country and is expected to make a substantial jump this fall.

Eithne Wiehl (Kellyville)  

Wiehl is a 4.0 student, Academic Team member and leader in her school organizations. A state qualifier and Kellyville’s top returning medalist, she has qualified in each of the past two seasons and plans to run in college.

Jonah Ennis (Kellyville)  

Ennis is a 4.0 student and a two-time state qualifier who leads the Kellyville program. He also competes in track, plays significant minutes for the basketball team and plans to continue running in college.

Tristan Scott (Keys)  

Scott placed 13th individually at the state meet last season and has trained continuously since then. He medaled in the 1,600 meters during track season and has added several impressive local 5K victories.

Chayley Nickeson (Kremlin-Hillsdale)  

Nickeson enters her senior season as a leader for Kremlin-Hillsdale. She is looking to build on the success she achieved last year.

Gentry Long (Laverne)  

Long enters his senior year following a strong track season and a state championship cross-country campaign. His work ethic, determination and ambitious goals make him a runner to watch.

Jocelyn Pope (Laverne)  

Pope began her high-school career by winning a cross-country state championship as both an individual and team member. The freshman also helped Laverne win a state track title, and her talent and determination make her one of the area’s rising runners.

Marisol Hernandez (Lindsay)  

Hernandez was Lindsay’s lone state qualifier last year, placing in the top 15 in Class 3A to medal and earning OCA All-Star recognition. The senior is the program’s only four-year runner and brings leadership, strong academics and a competitive mindset.

Marley Beshear (Mannford)  

Beshear is a three-time state qualifier who finished 11th overall at the state cross-country meet last season. The senior has improved throughout her career and will help lead Mannford this fall.

Caleb Davis (Marlow)  

Davis made significant gains in confidence during track season, leading to major improvements in his times. Entering his senior cross-country campaign, he believes he belongs among the top runners and has the potential to be a serious threat.

Jaci McKay (Marlow)  

McKay is a senior with an opportunity to lead Marlow both on and off the course. Her optimistic attitude should help her compete well this season.

Andrew Dennis (Minco)  

Dennis brings leadership, talent and a strong work ethic to Minco. He sets an inspiring example for his teammates.

Remle Ross (Mooreland)  

Ross is recognized as a student-athlete with strong character, work ethic and natural talent. He is part of an important group of runners for Mooreland.

Xander Nielsen (Mooreland)  

Nielsen combines solid character and work ethic with considerable talent. He will be a runner to watch for Mooreland this season.

Reece Hensley (Mooreland)  

Hensley brings a strong work ethic, quality character and natural ability to Mooreland’s team. His contributions will be valuable to the program.

Violet Russell (Oklahoma Christian School)  

Russell had never run before last season but finished the cross-country year strongly and continued her development in track. The sophomore’s work ethic and growing competitiveness make her a runner to watch.

Isaac Anderson (Oklahoma Christian School)  

Anderson has been a standout runner since eighth grade and has developed into a leader for Oklahoma Christian School. After returning from a non-running-related injury, he earned All-State in cross country, won state titles in the 4×800 relay, 800 meters and 3,200 meters, and holds the school’s middle- and long-distance track records.

Noah Nelson (Owasso)  

Nelson is beginning to establish himself after an excellent track season. Owasso hopes his continued development will make him one of the state’s top runners.

Mason Piovesan (Pocola)  

Piovesan is a positive, hard-working runner who embraces every challenge. He consistently looks to improve while encouraging teammates to do the same.

John Burns (Pryor)  

Burns is Pryor’s top senior runner and has elite 800-meter speed, having gone under two minutes. He played an integral role in the program’s return to success at state and is pursuing All-State honors this season.

Hunter Lowe (Roland)  

Lowe enters his senior season as one of Roland’s most consistent runners. He has improved considerably over the past two years, earned top-20 finishes and medals in most meets, and serves as a positive role model for teammates.

Cadyn Tallon (Ryan)  

Tallon enters his senior season with a strong history of success. His goal is a top-15 finish at state, and his recent performances indicate that target is within reach.

Katie Chambers (Sapulpa)  

Chambers leads Sapulpa with determination and intensity. She pushes teammates in workouts while helping younger runners improve.

Gracie Stobaugh (Sapulpa)  

Stobaugh is one of Sapulpa’s team leaders. Her determination and willingness to push younger runners forward help set the standard for the group.

Parker Morris (Sayre)  

Morris is a two-time state qualifier in both cross country and track. Her natural talent, relentless work ethic and leadership help her set a high standard for Sayre while inspiring teammates to improve.

Ogana Swimmer (Sequoyah-Tahlequah)  

Swimmer earned All-State recognition in cross country last season. He also won track state championships in the 1,600 meters and 4×800 relay.

Libby Baker (Tahlequah)  

Baker was nominated as a player to watch for Tahlequah. No additional coach-submitted information was provided.

Emberleigh Justice (Tahlequah)

Emmersyn Randall (Tonkawa)  

Randall is coming off a strong outdoor track season and was a top finisher at state last year. Though only a junior, her success and leadership make her an important runner for Tonkawa.

Kinley Delozier (Vanoss)  

Delozier finished sixth at the Class 2A state meet as a freshman. She is expected to be one of the county’s top runners next season.

Mikenley Hellman (Waukomis)  

Hellman is a sophomore standout, state qualifier, school-record holder and the leader of Waukomis’ cross-country program. Named to the Enid All-Northwest Oklahoma Cross Country Girls Team in 2025 and ranked No. 18 in the state track rankings last season, she continues to train daily while encouraging teammates and strengthening the team culture.

Natalie Knobloch (Wayne)  

Knobloch is a four-sport athlete with an exceptional year-round work ethic. Her approach to school and extracurricular activities makes her a coach’s dream.

Max Patterson (Westmoore)  

Patterson enters the season as Westmoore boys cross country’s Most Valuable Performer and one of its new leaders. Known by his coaches as the “Endurance King,” he has made major gains through steady training and helps raise the level of the team by encouraging teammates.

Camryn Newton (Westmoore)  

Newton sets the tone for Westmoore through her work ethic, competitiveness and commitment to improvement. Following another outstanding track season, she enters cross country as one of the program’s biggest strengths and consistently elevates those around her.

Alec Ganote (Wilson-Henryetta)  

Ganote is a senior who has been part of Wilson’s cross-country program throughout high school. He leads by example, gives maximum effort in workouts and races, has improved every season, and balances cross country with other sports, academics and his own business.

Madelyn Bivens (Wilson-Henryetta)  

Bivens enters her third high-school cross-country season with valuable experience, determination and leadership. The junior’s commitment to training and desire to improve make her a positive example for younger Wilson runners.

Jaylon Hill (Wright City)  

Hill earned All-State recognition as both a freshman and sophomore. Entering his junior season, he is expected to contend for the honor again.
