Joshua admires the impressive swim skills and athleticism of competitive swimmer and Olympian Michael Phelps. The person who most inspires Joshua is coach Wig. “She inspires me by pushing me through hard workouts and her inspirational talks,” he says.
His parents signed him up for Water Dawgs Swim Club in the sixth grade. “It was something I was good at, and I kept improving from there. I would like to thank my parents, Craig and Janet Harms, for taking me to all the swim meets out of town, for encouraging me to do my best, and for always being at my meets. I would also like to shoutout to my Grandparents, Joe and Linda Dennis, for their huge support, dedication, love and constant encouragement!” exclaimed Joshua.
