VYPE: How has your season gone so far and have you accomplished your goals for the

season; what were those goals?

Aunika: My season has gone well and I have accomplished my original goal of getting a medal.

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

Aunika: The most fun I’ve had this season was hanging out with my friends at XC meets.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Aunika: My favorite teacher is my choir teacher, Mr. Young, because he brings a lot of

energy and has a way of lifting our spirits.

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

Aunika: My favorite athletic memory is when I medaled for the first time.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Aunika: There are two teammates who have majorly impacted my cross country career so

far; Elaina and Emily. Emily gives me a lot of guidance for making me a better cross country

runner. Elaina is my best friend and keeps me motivated.

VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?

Aunika: Emily has the best impression of our coaches and Coach Patterson says the

funniest things during meets.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Aunika: I would like to go to every six flags with my family and friends.

VYPE: When did you first start running cross court and what is your favorite thing about it?

Aunika: I started XC this year and my favorite part is being part of the team.
