Altus Pom member Brooke Shelton spoke with VYPE in a recent interview.

VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?

Brooke: My personal goals for the year are to finish the year with straight A’s and to compete in the Miss

Altus Teen pageant!

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

Brooke: The most fun I have had this past year is competing at Pom and Dance competition and making

it to State competition!

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?

Brooke: My favorite teacher is Mrs Adler! She is funny and we always have a good time in her class!

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

Brooke: My favorite athletic memory is going to state both years of highschool and hope to make it the

next two years!

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Brooke: The teamate who has had the biggest impression on me is Harley! She always makes fun more

bright and fun!

VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?

Brooke: My favorite part of being on Pom is learning halftime dances and performing infront of big

crowds!

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you

take with you?

Brooke: If I could go anywhere for summer vacation, I would go to Hawaii because I have always wanted

to go and it is so beautiful at the ocean! I would take my mom, dad, and sister!

VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you

spend it on?

Brooke: If I was given $500 to spend I would go to the mall or online and shop for clothes and a new pair

of super cool shoes!

VYPE: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?

Brooke: I am involved in National Honors Society, Kay Club, I sing and play guitar for my youth group

worship team, and I volunteer at Operation Care!
